Imagine UBC

Clients Challenge

Every year, UBC holds one of North America's greatest orientation programs for their students. Over 5000 new undergraduates gather at the campus for cheers and housewarming. UBC's challenge is to be able to keep the orientation organized and functional so that each team can be kept together as leaders take students through sessions.

Our Solution

Keeping groups together is a challenge that we overcame with the use of 1500 individualized t-shirts colour coded to represent each of UBC's faculties. Beyond t-shirts, Boulevard also helped UBC to disperse 6000 branded thermal mugs, 10,000 leis, clipboards, balloons, magnets, writing pads, and lanyards - all branded with the UBC name.

Result

Thousands of new UBC students sound off their faculty cheers on the first day of Imagine in their faculty colour coordinated shirts. Blue Scientists and Red Engineers compete in their volume and skill. The pride is not only in the institution where they belong, but to their fellow students, who were readily identifiable through the coloured shirts.
